Academic Staff Union of Universities, Benin Zone, has blamed state governors for politicizing scholastic exercises in state funded colleges.
The zone regretted that state colleges had endured political obstructions which, it stated, had influenced the schools.
The Zonal Executive, Prof Fred Esumeh, in an announcement on Thursday, additionally censured the supposed poor subsidizing of tertiary training.
As indicated by Esumeh, instruction remains “an open decent”, including that the advancement of any country relies upon its interest in the training segment.
He stated, “The resumption of the strike left upon in September 2017 by our association was intended to guarantee the survival of state funded colleges in Nigeria.
