Two Police Officers Detained Over Missing Vehicle in Ondo State

The Ondo State Police Command has captured and detained two policemen regarding the vanishing of a vehicle in ther prmises.

The cops were said to have been detained at the Criminal Investigative Department of the direction.

A Toyota vehicle, which was said to be a display, was seized and confined on the premises of the Anti-kidnapping Squad of the command in Akure, the Ondo State capital, however had been proclaimed missing for over month.

It was accumulated that the two confined officers were on obligation upon the arrival of the vanishing of the vehicle however guaranteed not to know anything about how it got missing.

The Police Public Relations Officer for the state, Mr Femi Joseph, said the Commissioner of Police in the state, Mr Gbenga Adeyanju, was not content with the improvement and had requested an examination concerning the issue.

Joseph expressed, “The Commissioner of Police is angry about it and he has requested the preliminary of the two policemen who were on obligation on that day. He has additionally questioned the Officer in Command of the Anti-seizing Squad.
