Misfiring Manchester United will once again start attracting big player this summer says former player Gary Neville.
Since Sir Alex Ferguson’s departure in 2013, the Red Devils are yet to win a Premier League title and they went through another difficult season finish sixth hence missing out on Champions League spot. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to rebuild the club and Neville is positive the can attract the best player despite not playing in the Champions League next season.
“I think United can still attract top-end players because we’ve seen good players come to the club over the last six or seven years,” said the club legend.
“This club will never move away from being a sensational football club. It will have difficult moments, and it’s having a difficult time. The money in the game now means you’re always in competition. The club has lost players when it’s successful to Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich,” he added.
The Red Devils have been linked with a number of players including Matthijs de Ligt, Daniel James, Sean Longstaff, Jadon Sancho, Declan Rice, and Chelsea Callum Hudson-Odoi
