Court fine N9.2bn linked to former president wife Patience Jonathan

Lagos Federal High court temporarily filed to the government of the federal republic of Nigeria of the total sum of N9,185,327,362, discovered in the custody of Diamond Bank Plc, Skye Bank Plc,FirstBank Plc and Stanbic IBTC which belongs to former president wife Patience Jonathan and some other six people.

The court temporarily filed the case  Economic and Financial Crime Commision (EFCC),April 19, 2018,refilled the application on the ground that it has consolidated alll other suits of the same subject matter and parties.

After this, Mr Olatoregun the court justice,on April 20, granted the order for temporary freeze of the money,after EFCC their been satisfied with EFCC application before the court.

After granting the EFCC’s application, Justice Olatoregun ordered the EFCC to publish the filed order in newspaper, within 14 days, so that people can see it.

The matter has been adjourned till Friday, for further hearing.
