The Diligent worker and the Narrow Road To Success

NARROW THE ROAD TO SUCCESS

He who will dig honey,
From the bowel of the rock
Will not count the cost of his labour.

Cracking a nut is no mean feat
It demand handwork, endurance and perseverance
For the palm tree to gush forth its sweet drink,
A strong blow is required,
A crack shot on the neck of the palm tree.

So brother,
Gird your loins,
Roll up your sleeves,
Prepare to work until your hands are blistered,
Apply yourself firmly to the task at hand,
He who will be king,
Must set for handwork.

THE DILIGENT WORKER

You toil and strive to achieve success,
Believing strongly that he who will banish poverty,
Must apply himself firmly to the plough.

In the manner of a sage,
Endowed with the gift of insight,
I foretell it will be a matter of time,
Before success comes your way.

You now stand on the threshold of glory,
With success within your gasp,
You now stand atop the world,
Like atlas on mount Olympus
And Hercules in ancient Greece

Arise and shine!
The diligent worker,
You are an achiever.
